Britta a practitioner of holistic healing has specialised in Reflexology since 1991. She is qualified with a Diploma in Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Holistic Health, Ireland; qualified with a practitioners Diploma with the Irish Bayly School of Reflexology and also qualified with a Certificate as an Infant Massage Instructor.She studied Hand Reflexology with Kris Walker,Queens University, Belfast and Advanced Reflexology Ingham method with the International Institute of Reflexology.She was appointed National Network co-ordinator for the Irish Reflexologist’s Institute and nominated as their Representative to the 3rd European conference of Reflexology, Tampere, Finland. In 2000 was invited to be a member of the RiEN Research working group. Britta receives Regional Finalist in - Young Business Women Award in 2000. Represented RiEN at the ICR Conference in Rome 2001. She set up the Research Board in 2001 , became an Assessor of the schools with the IRI. She was a guest speaker at the Canadian RAC Conference in Winnepeg 2003, where She gave a presentation on Research in Reflexology in Europe. In 2005, Britta completed her Teacher training in National University of Ireland, Maynooth to receive her Certificate with first class honors. Her school A.U.R.A. Aromaflex Universal Reflexology Academy was set up in 2005 to develop Students of Reflexology to highest standards. A.U.R.A is accredited by The National Register of Reflexologists Ireland. A.U.R.A. is a member International Council of Reflexologists.
2006 Britta gave a short VRT workshop for Lynne Booth– RiEN Conference, Limerick and attended ICR Conference in Amsterdam.
In 2007 She continues her research and Heads NRRI Reflexology Research Forum & published her survey on ‘Doing Research’
In Sept 2007 She received an Award for her Aromaflex/A.U.R.A. from Westmeath County Enterprise Awards.
In 2008 She presented Research and VRT Workshops at NRRI 1st Symposium - Mullingar.
Britta operates her practice at Aromaflex, Beechlawns which also has accessibility for Wheelchair users.Her home service is for those clients unable to travel or who have other special needs.
Britta teaches in Eire and Northern Ireland.
